St Malachy’s School is committed to giving children the opportunity to learn in the outdoor environment. We believe that taking learning outside is good for promoting children’s self-esteem, wellbeing, behaviour, co-operative learning and problem solving.

Forest School

We have worked alongside the Wildlife Trust in our on-site woodland area to run Forest Schools.

Gardening Club 

We also utilise our on-site allotment giving children the chance to sow and grow plants and vegetables.
